Background Electrophysical agents combination for pain relief is commonly used in clinical
practice. According to some authors, when interferential current and
photobiomodulation were applied, a positive impact on pain attenuation in knee
osteoarthritis could be observed. However, these reports only described the use of
aforementioned treatments applied alone and, no one evaluated the combination of
them
Objective To evaluate the effects of combining interferential current and photobiomodulation
in patients with knee osteoarthritis.
